A: We usually recommend the earlier, the better! Typically, we recommend booking 1-2 months in advance to help guarantee our availability for your event!
2. Q: How do I know I am booked?
A: For events, we would ask for a small $40 non-refundable deposit per artist to secure your booking time and date. Our dates and availability are open to anyone with a deposit, which is why we use them to secure each and every booking! Once received with final confirmation, we are good to go and are locked in for your event!
3.Q: Where do you travel?
A: We are based in Kitchener-Waterloo, but we do travel all over Ontario and even internationally! Typically, we would charge a $0.75 a km travel rate depending on the distance for our long-distance friends!
4. Q: Does Eric do everything?
A: Great Question! While Eric handles the majority of activities here, we have a large team of balloon twisters, face painters, sketch artists, and more to help ensure your event is a success!
5. Q: What ages do you recommend for your services?
A: The short answer is ages 3 and up we recommend, thou it depends on their attention span and activity! Typically for balloons and face painting, we recommend ages 3 and up, as balloons can be a choking hazard, and with face paint, their skin is still developing and can be quite sensitive for those under 3. For our magic shows and other activities, usually ages 3 and up are ideal but it can depend on the individual.
6. Q: Are you Insured?
A: Yes! We always strive to go above and beyond with health and safety. Eric is not only fully insured with over 2 Million Liability, but is certified in First Aid, AED, and CPR, and Food Safety.
7. Q: What Methods of payment do you accept?
A: E-trasfer is usually the easiest method of payment for deposits, but we do cash, cheque, PayPal, and even credit card!
9. Q: What setup do I need?
A: For most of our activities, we would ask for a small space to be provided, with any further details being provided when you book your event. We do expect, in case of inclement weather to have an indoor option provided. For outdoor events we do ask for shade or a partial covering to be provided in cases of extreme heat.
10. Q: Can I Tip?
A: Of course! If you feel our staff has gone above and beyond, gratuity is always appreciated! Please note that while food is appreciated at events, some of our staff have dietary requirements or other events that they may need to attend and may not be able to accept food offered at the event!
11. Q: What do I do if I need a VSC (Vulnerable Sector Check)?
A: Eric comes with a fully certified VSC, which is on file for insurance coverage. If you need specialized background forms, specialty insurance coverage, or additional custom forms, they can be provided at an additional cost to the client.
